His Highness Ambassador Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador in Riyadh, officially opened a branch of the Recycling Service Company in AL Dammam, Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
Following a series of operational stages throughout the Kingdom, the company’s operation is now officially launched. With a combined work experience of up to nine years in this field, the Service Recycling Company is one of the top organizations in the Sultanate of Oman for recycling and garbage management. The company is moving forward with a clear strategic vision to expand its activities outside of the Sultanate, with the goal of making the best use of resources —waste— by treating and recycling it into raw materials that can be remanufactured.
The company’s first steps were taken outside of the Sultanate of Oman, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is considered one of the most fruitful markets for this type of commercial venture. The company’s chief operating officer, Murshid Al-Amiri, stated that the first stage of the company’s operational operations in the Kingdom will serve as a springboard for future operational stages. He also stated that the Kingdom’s recycling sector is a promising one, with clear national trends to develop, improve, and accelerate the speed of work and regulation in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
The Sultanate’s embassy in AL Riyadh continues to support and empower Omani small and medium enterprises by providing the necessary facilities for the start of commercial activities and projects between the two brotherly countries through its coordination efforts with the competent authorities in both countries.
